We have designed for Silicon-on-Insulator (SOI), Silicon Nitride (SiN) and Thin Film Lithium Niobate (TFLN), and wavelengths from 493 nm to 1650 nm. However, our technology allows us to rapidly adapt components for new wavelengths and materials such as Aluminium Nitride (AlN), Gallium Arsenide (GaAs), Silicon Carbide (SiC), Indium Phosphide (InP), etc.
Yes. Our team of photonics and modelling experts offer custom PIC architecture development, chip design, and can manage the fabrication and characterisation process. Get in touch with us via info@wavephotonics.com or Contact us to inform us about your design requirements.
No, we are design specialists and do not have in-house fabrication. However, we work together with many different foundries and can connect you with a suitable foundry and help you manage the fabrication process.
Once we have fully characterised a process, either at a prototyping or at a high volume foundry, we can design components with a very good fabrication variation tolerance, which will increase yield.
