Which materials/wavelengths do you support?
Arrow

We have designed for Silicon-on-Insulator (SOI), Silicon Nitride (SiN) and Thin Film Lithium Niobate (TFLN), and wavelengths from 493 nm to 1650 nm. However, our technology allows us to rapidly adapt components for new wavelengths and materials such as Aluminium Nitride (AlN), Gallium Arsenide (GaAs), Silicon Carbide (SiC), Indium Phosphide (InP), etc.

Do you offer design services?
Arrow

Yes. Our team of photonics and modelling experts offer custom PIC architecture development, chip design, and can manage the fabrication and characterisation process. Get in touch with us via info@wavephotonics.com or Contact us to inform us about your design requirements.

What components can you design?
Arrow

We specialise in passive design, but offer some active IP. We can provide flexible designs supporting multiple wavelengths, splitting ratios, and layout needs. Our passive components list can be found here. View details on our active IP here.

Do you do any fabrication?
Arrow

No, we are design specialists and do not have in-house fabrication. However, we work together with many different foundries and can connect you with a suitable foundry and help you manage the fabrication process.

Will your PDKs offer high yield at volume fabs?
Arrow

Once we have fully characterised a process, either at a prototyping or at a high volume foundry, we can design components with a very good fabrication variation tolerance, which will increase yield.
